Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern every booking made with The Dozen Collective (“we”, “us”). By reserving a seat on any of our trips you agree to them. We’ve kept them in plain language — if anything is unclear, ask us before you book.

1. Booking & payment

  • A seat is reserved by paying the deposit stated on the trip page (currently ₹21,000 per traveller) and is confirmed once we accept your booking after the introductory call.
  • The balance is due 30 days before departure. If the balance is unpaid by then, we may release your seat and the cancellation policy applies.
  • Our headline prices are all-in: 5% GST and 2% TCS are included. TCS is deposited against your PAN and can be claimed in your income-tax return.

2. The screening call

Every traveller speaks with the founder before being confirmed. We may decline a booking at our discretion — the small-group experience depends on it. If we decline you after you’ve paid a deposit, that deposit is refunded in full.

3. Guaranteed departure

A departure is guaranteed to run once 10 travellers are confirmed. If we cancel a departure for any reason, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid us, deposit included. Our liability for a cancelled departure is limited to the amount you paid us.

4. What’s included

Each trip page lists its inclusions and exclusions — that list is part of these terms. Unless stated otherwise, international flights to and from the trip’s start and end points, visas, and travel insurance are not included.

5. Your responsibilities

  • You must be 18 or older to book, hold a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the trip dates, and obtain any required visa.
  • Travel insurance is mandatory on every departure. We’ll recommend providers, but the policy is yours to buy and hold.
  • You’re responsible for being reasonably fit for the activities described on the trip page, and for disclosing medical or dietary needs before departure.
  • We may ask a traveller to leave a trip for behaviour that endangers or seriously disrupts the group; no refund is due in that case.

6. Itinerary changes

We run the itinerary as published, but weather, safety, and local conditions can force changes. Where a change is needed we’ll provide the closest reasonable alternative at no extra cost. Force-majeure events (natural disasters, epidemics, government restrictions and similar) may require rescheduling — in that case we’ll offer a new date or a credit before anything else.

7. Third-party services

Hotels, airlines, boats and local operators on our trips are independent businesses. We choose them carefully, but their services are subject to their own terms, and our liability for their acts is limited to what we can recover from them on your behalf.

8. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.

9. Photography

We take photos and video on trips for our website and social channels. Tell us before departure if you’d rather not appear, and we’ll keep you out of anything we publish.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms: email Thedozencollective@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp — you’ll reach the founder directly.
