Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy applies to all bookings for The Dozen Collective trips. It works alongside The Founding Promise on every trip page. the promise is the generous half of this policy, in writing.

The Founding Promise

Guaranteed departure: a trip is guaranteed to run once 10 travellers are confirmed.
If we cancel for any reason: you receive a 100% refund of everything you have paid us, deposit included.
If we decline you at the screening call after you’ve paid a deposit, the deposit is refunded in full.
Deposit

A deposit of ₹21,000 per traveller reserves your seat, one of just twelve places on the trip. If you cancel, the deposit is non-refundable, with two exceptions:

Visa rejection: ₹15,000 of the deposit is refunded (share the rejection letter with us).
Anything covered by The Founding Promise above. Where we cancel or decline you, everything comes back.

If you cancel:
30 or more days before departure: 50% of the balance paid (over and above the deposit) is refunded.
Within 30 days of departure:
no refund.

Taxes:
5% GST and 2% TCS are included in the trip price and nothing is charged on top. The TCS is deposited against your PAN and is refundable/adjustable in your income-tax return as per Indian law, whether or not you travel.

How refunds are processed:
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 7-10 working days of confirmation.
