The reason people book
There’s one night on this trip you’ll describe for years.
It falls on Day 8 — somewhere between a lake with no roads and a room that floats. We’re not going to spoil it here.
See exactly where it lands in the 12 days ↓The main event
Day by day — the part that makes it real.
Twelve days, mapped out almost hour by hour. This is where the trip stops being an idea and starts feeling like yours.
Day 1 · Fly in to Chiang Rai
Chiang Rai 3 nights
White, Blue & Black temples and the far-north tea roads of Mae Salong.
The north’s most surreal corner — dreamlike temples, misty tea ridges, barely any crowds, and your first proper taste of northern Thai food.
Day 1
Arrival in Chiang Rai
Arrive in laid-back Chiang Rai, settle in, and meet the group over dinner by the iconic Clock Tower.
Day 2
Temples of Another World
Discover Chiang Rai’s surreal side — from the White, Blue & Black Temples to tea plantations and the Golden Triangle.
Day 3
Doi Tung & Mae Salong
Journey into the mountains for royal gardens, Yunnanese villages, highland tea and an unforgettable mountain lunch.
Day 4 · Private Transfers to Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai 2 nights
Free time in Nimman, then Doi Inthanon — the roof of Thailand.
Thailand’s coolest creative city — cafés, massages and the best khao soi you’ll ever eat, plus a day on the country’s highest peak.
Day 4
South to Chiang Mai
Drive into creative Chiang Mai, then eat your way through its hidden street-food gems on a Michelin-guide walking tour.
Day 5
Doi Inthanon, Roof of Thailand
Stand on Thailand’s highest peak, trek through cloud forest and discover waterfalls, pagodas and mountain landscapes.
Day 6 · Fly to Surat Thani, Then Private Transfer into Khao Sok
Khao Sok 3 nights
Rainforest trek, river tubing and a floating raft house on Cheow Lan Lake.
Sleep on the water inside one of the oldest rainforests on Earth, ringed by limestone cliffs. Sunrise mist over the lake is unforgettable.
Day 6
Into the Rainforest
Fly south and disappear into Khao Sok’s ancient rainforest before gliding through the jungle by bamboo raft or canoe.
Day 7
Jungle, Elephants & Night Safari
Trek deep into the jungle, bathe elephants ethically, then return after dark for a wild night safari.
Day 8
Emerald Cheow Lan Lake
Wake to misty mountains, cruise Thailand’s emerald lake, explore a hidden cave and search for wildlife after dark.
Day 9 · Private Transfers to Phuket
Phuket 3 nights
Similan Islands, the local side of Phuket and one big night to finish.
The crowd-free island most travelers miss — emerald lagoons, hidden sea caves and sunsets behind the karsts.
Day 9
Khao Sok to Phuket
Leave the jungle for Phuket’s quieter south — sunset at Promthep Cape, then dinner through Old Town’s hidden streets.
Day 10
The Similan Islands
Sail into the Andaman Sea aboard a luxury catamaran and snorkel among some of Thailand’s clearest waters and richest reefs.
Day 11
A Local's Phuket, Then the Big Night
See Phuket beyond the crowds — hidden coves, local food and secret corners, followed by one unforgettable final night together.
Day 12
The flight home
One last slow breakfast by the sea, then head to the airport — leaving with memories, stories and a group chat that’s just getting started.

Why this trip exists
One person. One obsession. Getting this exactly right.
I started The Dozen Collective because the trip I wanted didn’t exist — small, genuinely curated, led by someone who actually cares whether you have the time of your life. So I’m building this one the way I’d want it: scouting every stay, planning every transfer, and personally choosing the eleven people you’ll travel with.
I’ll be there the whole way, start to finish. This isn’t a tour I’m selling — it’s a trip I’m pouring myself into.

Most of our travellers book solo — it's the whole point. You'll have company from the welcome dinner onwards, and your own space whenever you want it.
Twelve travellers, never more, plus Akshat and the crew. Small enough to eat at one table, big enough to always find your people.
